Job Role:

Samba Reggae

"Music doth soothe the troubled soul" -

Introduction:

This workshop is a novel way of introducing people to the concept of working as a team and managing ones energy within a team. The definition of a team is a group of people who work willingly together to create Synergy to achieve mutually agreed objectives. The definition of music is the art of arranging the sounds of voices or instrument in a pleasing sequence. Lets bring the two together, through individuals working together we create a team that can provide a service that delights clients, likewise by individual sounds being played together we create music that can delight our audience. The music we have chosen to use is Samba Reggae. This is compiled of simple repetitive rhythms played on different sized drums to produce a catchy and exciting form of music. The music is composed by Giba Goncalves and is typical of the carnival music of Bhai, Brazil. No one need any musical background, hidden talents will be revealed ! In a fun environment, barriers will be broken down between individuals, positive energy will be released, and, within only a matter of hours, first time drummers will be partaking in an exciting musical performance.
